We are not a school from a bustling city but a humble Chinese primary school nestled in the outskirts of Northern Sarawak, with fewer than a hundred students. We may not have vast resources, only scattered support that comes in bits and pieces. Our talents are not innate gifts but the fruits of determination and perseverance. Though we’ve never been in the spotlight, we have never lost our will to shine.
Since the world was struck by the pandemic, our journey has been marked by victories, large and small. This year is our fourth triumph at the state level, and now, we have the honor of performing at the Sarawak Preschool Kid’s Got Talent award ceremony. Our heartfelt thanks go to the organizers, whose sponsorship has opened the doors for our children from the countryside to see the wider world.
I believe, deep in my heart, that our potential reaches beyond state borders—if only we had a greater stage to showcase it. We may not be the best yet, but the future holds the promise of our fullest, brightest selves!!!
